K24 Twin Rotrex SC WHP partial tuned

Jaydee's revised K24 motor now with the TWIN Rotrex, 10/2011.

 

The water injection has now been upgraded to 3D mapping using the Autronic SM4 to control the % of water flow. We have utilised Snow Performance's safe injection flow rate tranducer to monitor the water flow. This is integrated into the system by comparing to the requested flow rate with the actual flow rate. Spark and fuel is controlled based on these measurements. This system provides total safety if the water flow rate is lower than requested.

This addition enables the motor to run on 93 Octane while retaining these amazing performance levels.

Tuned to 6500rpm before problems with the BOV and wastegate blowing open, both will be resolved by replacing these units.

Running the 2 Rotrex in a serial installation max's out the C38-91 on the inlet side. It will not make boost well before maximum charger speeds as the air is going sonic on the inlet. The C38-91 is too small.....for the air quantity being consumed and the wheel speed of the compressor.

If you are looking to maximise boost at high rpms you will need the chargers in parellel.
But the series install is unreal for low down and midrange torque....... torque is what accelerates cars....
